In what will hopefully become a new Xmas tradition at the club, PLTC once again hosted the Working Style Michael Venus Christmas Invitational on December 18.  The weather was fantastic, and club members and visitors turned out in droves to watch Michael and friends play some entertaining exhibition tennis.   As you can see from the video, Peter Fletcher court was surrounded on all sides, and viewers were treated to a tightly contested match that ended with Michael and partner Taylor Brown squeaking home in a  tight finish over Seb Lavie and Pavlina Nola.

A huge thank-you to our very own Chris Dobbs from Working Style for putting the event together, with support from co-sponsors Mercedes Benz Auckland, Lanvin& Fils Champagne and Peroni.

Parnell Tennis Club benefitted enormously from the evening, not only raising well over $7,000 towards our court resurfacing project, but also signing up a number of brand new members on the night.
