An epic opening night for the 2025 Caro Bowl season with both our men's and women's teams playing at home in a huge double header.  The Bayleys women's team launched their defence of the Caro Bowl title with a convincing 6-0 win against Blockhouse Bay, while the Head men's team also came through with a tight 4-2 win against Eden Epsom.

A great crowd of more than 150 were treated to some fantastic tennis, with the action continuing well into the evening. The BBQ and kitchen crews did a wonderful job keeping the punters fed and happy, and the bar staff also had a very busy night.  Apparently, the burger count for the night exceeded 80, and the bar was buzzing all night!  A huge thank you to our "kitchen witches" Liz Bell, Julie Turner, Kitty Gemmell, Maureen Betts and Gail Mazur, and our "BBQ beasts" Louis Friel and Ross Harvey, all of whom sacrificed watching the tennis in many cases to keep operations running smoothly.
