Wow, another fantastic evening of fashion, glamour and tennis was held at Parnell on Wednesday 17 December.  Hosted by Working Style in association with Mercedes Benz Auckland, Lanvin & Fils champagne and Heineken, the "Celebrity Big Serve" brought New Zealand's hottest doubles pairing, James Watt and Finn Reynolds, to PLTC for a series of exhibition matches.

The evening started with a set of doubles featuring some of New Zealand's top juniors (including our very own Una Misic), followed by a very entertaining mixed doubles featuring James and Finn paired with Emily Fanning and Pavlina Nola from our victorious Caro Bowl team.

This was followed by an entertaining "celebrity challenge", where famous sports people and celebrities attempted to return a 200 km/h rocket from the racket of James Watt - unsurprisingly none succeeded .... until life member Bruce Campbell stepped up to the plate and proceeded to not only return one of the serves, but then play out the rally and put a forehand winner past James at the net!  Well done Bruce!

The music continued well into the night, and a fun time was had by all.
