Clubrooms & Courts

PLTC clubrooms are a short stroll from the Auckland Museum, surrounded by park-like grounds. We have wonderful facilities, with lovely clubrooms overlooking eight floodlight astroturf courts.

There are relaxing couches and bar leaners for members, or you may be more comfotable sitting in front of the fire watching the television during winter. The club welcomes members and visitors to watch major sports events.

Members can order a refreshment from the newly revamped bar and then watch matches being played, whether competition matches or a social games, from the surrounding decks. The bar is open for members and their visitors from late afternoon until the last match is played, with professional bar staff onsite.

The bar hours are from 12 noon to 10:30pm Monday - Tuesday; 12 noon to 11:30pm Wednesday - Sunday (except stautory holidays when closed.)  The bar may open later and close earlier at the discretion of the club and bar staff.

Kitchen facilities are available for members and caterers to use during interclub or other club events. A barbeque is also located on the top deck for members' use.

Members are responsible for keeping the clubrooms tidy and returning crockery and glasses to the kitchen when no bar person is on duty.

The club has recently upgraded the bathroom facilities for members and their visitors. There are separate male and female facilities which are open all day for members playing or having early morning coaching.
