PLTC NEWSLETTER
It has been heartening to have some well deserved sunshine this past week and we are pleased to get out on the courts with this warmer weather. This is a slightly longer newsletter as there has been a lot to catch up on form the past 3 weeks.
Spring has sprung into PLTC with a wonderful Stan & Kitty Tong Tournament Open Day last Sunday 8th October
This special event brought an exciting three rounds of tennis by Feleti followed by a dramatic final. PLTC was graced by an impressive turnout of Dignitaries:

We have also just held the AGM, which was a healthy turnout for an evening, including the formal introduction of our Patron (see articles below) as well the voting in of new committee members Sean Brown and Kat Bamford and Hamish Thompson and farewelling Vicki Hamilton.

CARO BOWL
The Caro Bowl season is almost upon us starting Friday 27th October at 6pm
The mens team are playing East Tamaki at home and our women’s team are playing Cockle Bay at Cockle Bay. Both teams have a great chance of winning the grade this year and it would be great to get everyone up to the club or away to support the teams during the season. SCROLL BELOW for schedule.

INTERCLUB
A reminder to let Feleti know, if you have not already, whether you are keen to play summer interclub. It's only a month away before the season starts.
WEDNESDAY CLUB NIGHT
5.45pm for 6pm Every Wed - Check The ‘APP’ for weather
Fabulous sessions of fun, friendly and active paced drill type sessions and then a chance to play some doubles. Followed by a beverage and piece of Sal's pizza. DO keep an eye on our APP alert to confirm we will be playing.
Ideal for new members. Also remind anyone who may be interested to join PLTC that this is a great way to get a good feel for the club and its impressive facilities.
MID WEEK LADIES
Mid Week Ladies Xmas Tournament is coming up in December.
